The feast was quite a spectacle.  There was an abundance of food and lively entertainment.  It also helped that Izana was entertaining to listen to, even though he kept blathering on about how he won some kind of hair competition five times.  That part wasn’t very interesting, and Corrin wanted to talk with Hinoka.  After the feast was over, she finally got that chance.

“Hinoka, do you know where Ryoma and Takumi are?  I know you were on the same mission, but what happened to them?”

“We were going to Cheve.  On our mission, we started hearing rumblings of discontent there, and we were going to check it out, but there was a battle, and I was injured during it.  Ryoma sent me back to the capital to heal, but one day after I got back, a soldier came running in and told us that Ryoma and Takumi disappeared. I decided to track you down as soon as I was healed, thinking that you might be able to help me find them.”

Corrin was glad that Hinoka was right, but she was still worried about Ryoma and Takumi.  At least there was a place to start looking.  If she went to Cheve, there was a chance that they could be there, and otherwise, she could start backtracking to find their trail.

“It looks like I’m going to Cheve.  How do I start to head there?”

Hinoka started to run off and grab her nagitana.

“The quickest way is through Mokushu.  I can show you the way.”

As Hinoka disappeared around the corner, Corrin went to retrieve her sword.  Afterward, she told Azura and the others where they were going.  Once everyone had their weapons and armor, they bid Izana goodbye and headed towards Mokushu.  Before they got far, Azura came up to talk.

“This could be dangerous, Corrin.  Are you positive that you can do this?  And even if we do get to Cheve without incident, there is a chance that we may not be able to help Ryoma and Takumi.”

Corrin knew that she was right.  A lot of what she could do to help depended on whether or not Ryoma and Takumi were safe.  Also, Cheve was in Nohrian territory.  That would make this a huge risk for her.  Heaving a sigh, Corrin turned to Azura.

“I don’t know that I can, but I need to try.”

This didn’t alleviate all of Azura’s concerns.

“But what if Prince Xander or Princess Camilla are there?”

That was another problem.  If they did encounter Xander or Camilla, she might not have a chance against them.  Even if she could fight them, there was also a risk that they would threaten her siblings in order to get her to go back with them.  But she couldn’t just turn aside and let the others handle the problems.  Like Ryoma said, this was her war now.

“I won’t let them take me easily, but even if they do manage to get me, I’ll fight as hard as I can to get back home.  Now that I know who I am, they can’t lock me away forever.”

With that said, Corrin turned her attention to the path ahead.  She had to find her brothers and she couldn’t let her feelings for her Nohrian siblings get in the way of her choices.
So this is a shorter chapter, and not much is happening here, but I hope it'll tide you over to the next one.

Corrin: Finally!  I found out what happened to Ryoma and Takumi!

Why must you always find a way out of the story?

Corrin: Bring up the next chapter quick!  I want to find them!

No, Corrin.  I'm doing one-a-week updates, and that's how I'm keeping it.

Corrin: But what happened?  Is it like the game?  Is it something else?  Will we find Takumi on our way?  How will-

Ok, you have overstayed your welcome, Corrin.

Corrin: But I haven't been here long!

I know, but when you start asking about what'll happen next, I'm not going to answer, aside from "Lets see what I do".

Corrin: But you're way ahead of us!  You're writing chapter 20 for crying out loud!

One. I don't want to overload everyone with Fire Emblem.  Two. I'm doing that in case I can't write for a bit, so I don't get behind on updating everyone.  Three. It gives me a chance to proofread it to make sure that I'm happy with the story.

Corrin: ...

Now get back in the story. *Gives her my intimidating stare*

Corrin: Ok...

*Corrin leaves*

Here we go.
